# Exclude transactions from rollups

Is there a way to exclude transactions from rollups? For example, if I have a transaction such as transferring money from one account to another, while I’d like to keep it there for historical/reference purposes, I want to be able to mark it such that it won’t show up in my reports when I do my rollups, tax packages, etc.

@michael.perstin Yes, categorizing those transactions as Transfer will exclude them from income and expense metrics.
