# Expense utilities and R&M to Tenants from transactions page

As a landlord there are utilities that I pay that have to be charged to tenants, as well as repairs/damages that tenants are responsible for as outlined by their lease that I first pay for and charge the tenant. Like fees for unplugging a drain, fixing windows, or doors that people broke, etc… Those transactions are either imported to Stessa or input manually into the transactions page and then I have to manually input them on the leases and tenants page to charge the tenant. I would like to be able to assign these charges directly to the tenant from the transactions page in the same way that you can assign rent. It would be a huge time saver for me and the rest of the community I’m sure.
