# Feature request - Easily add new rent payment

I would love for there to be a button that appears next to your last input for rent that will automatically add it to the current date with the same rent amount for the same unit. For example, I don’t have stessa linked to my bank accounts, and sometimes I receive rent from different tenants in different ways. I would like to be able to click a button that auto adds that information so I don’t have to go through all of the menus to add a new rent payment each time. This would save a huge amount of time.

@joe.thrower1 Might a “Copy” button that can be applied to any existing transaction work just as well? In the meantime, you can use the “Split” button as a workaround, which is discussed in more detail on this related thread: [Automate frequent manual transactions](https://community.stessa.com/t/automate-frequent-manual-transactions/99/2)

Add a checkbox on the Leases & Tenants page for each month. Checking the box will create a rent income transaction based on their monthly rent entered in the tenant’s detail page.
