I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle the refinance of a loan. I do see an option to show the loan is paid off. Is there a way to do this vs deleting the current loan and creating a new one for the property in question. Also, would be great if there’s a way to create 12 month bridge mortgages that include a separate balance for construction holdback.

@efgventuresouth The current best practice in Stessa is to simply delete the paid off mortgage and generate a new mortgage card for the new loan. We understand this is less than ideal from a historical perspective, but the system is not currently designed to archive prior mortgage details.

Prior mortgage payments present on your [Transactions page](https://app.stessa.com/transactions) will of course remain in place as they are required for accurate reporting, etc.
