Hello Stessa community,

I really like using Stessa in general, but i think it is missing (or I cannot find) a very important feature for majority of landlords / investors:
**Report or a view of all rental properties at a glance with date and amount of last rent paid for each rental property.**

Also, rent-due notification alert settings would be very helpful, to see if tenant is late.

This would benefit whole community of Stessa users!

If you need additional functional requirements, I can provide 🙂
Thank you,

-Tatyana.

@tbaytler Thanks for your excellent suggestions! Your timing is good as we are set to roll out a new set of features around lease management and rent tracking by unit over the next 4-6 weeks. We’ll be counting on your feedback to make these new tools as useful as possible.

Please prepare your Stessa account by assigning your rental income transactions to the proper unit via your **[Transactions page](https://app.stessa.com/transactions)**. Once you’ve done this a few times the system will learn your patterns and start to take care of these tasks automatically. This data will then feed into the new lease management and tenant ledger features.

@dsawaz Sure, the payment tracking by unit will soon be available on the **[Leases & Tenants page](https://app.stessa.com/web/leases)**. Once launched later this month (January 2021), you’ll be able to simply click any lease to see a full tenant ledger.

You can already run certain reports (including Net Cash Flow) by unit via your **[Reports page](https://app.stessa.com/web/reports/net-cash-flow)**.

Is there a way to sync Stessa with Cozy so the incoming rent automatically gets accounted for within Stessa?

@clugston.lauren We do not currently have an integration with Cozy, but you are able to quickly import large amounts of data via some common data file formats.

Hi, how do we view in a given month which tenants have paid rent, and which tenants have not?

@gdcrentals.inbox Sure. This is tracked on your **[Leases & Tenants page](https://app.stessa.com/web/leases)** via the colorful flags on each current tenancy. To make sure your data is flowing properly, you need to assign each received rent payment to the proper unit and tenancy via your [Transactions page](https://app.stessa.com/transactions).

I am just starting loading Stessa with my first 3 properties. I also connected my bank which shows the first rent payment for one of my rental homes. But in Leases and tenants it shows that payment as past due. Why isn’t the bank data talking to the payment input?
Thank you.

@joellazar111 Have you assigned the payment on the [Transactions page](https://app.stessa.com/transactions) to the correct Property and Unit/Tenancy? That’s how you make transactions “talk” to the tenant ledger. Or perhaps you have entered a Security Deposit in the lease details? This generates a “charge” on the tenant ledger, which will also need an offsetting income transaction assigned to the proper Unit/Tenancy.

Hi Devin,

Okay, that worked. I had it assigned but I did not have it categorized correctly… Thanks so much for your speedy and helpful response.

I’ve researched these softwares for months and just couldn’t decide so I just jumped in on yours and I love it so far. I still have to set up the monthly expenses. But that will have to wait until next weekend because my w-2 job is pretty intensive. One suggestion, I almost went to quicken or quick books because I could manage both my investments and my primary home and personal financial management. It would be great if you could add that one day. Then your subscribers can see a complete snapshot of their overall financial situation. I do have my primary home set up here as a separate portfolio, but its not really geared for that.

Thank you for your time on this.
