# Properties Rented by the Room

I have a couple properties where they are rented by the room, how do I set that up properly? I starting setting it up as a “multi-family” and treating each room as a unit but I’m not sure that is the best way. Plus, if I start renting out the entire unit in the future I’m not sure how I would do that.
