# Set up rent escalations for long term lease

I am purchasing a commercial building with long term leases in place, with annual increases. Do I have to manually create new leases for each new rent term? Or is there a way to program a long term lease with escalations?

@ppsathas Yes, to input a long-term lease with scheduled escalations, just use the “Renew Lease” button on your tenant details page to input future lease term dates with varying rents. Hope that helps!
