I would really like the option to set my property to either occupied or not, no more information needed.
I use property management, so I do not have, nor need, all of the tenant’s info, and I find it redundant to have to add in “John Doe”, a fake phone number, and email just to attempt to set that my property is rented. I also don’t want the date attached to expected rent, not every property manager of mine is exact to the penny to the date, gives free periods to move in, etc., and this makes the entire accounting system very frustrating to try and balance out. I would also like to upvote adding owner occupied, as I would like to live in one of my multi-fam units and rent the others out.
At the least, I would like the option not to have to enter the tenant’s personal info, simply an occupied or vacant toggle, and not to have tenancy attached to my financials; that is ultimately what I am asking for, thank you!
