Make a new Cost Category - "Personal Expense"

I want to make a very simple suggestion to your programmers. Make a very simple, one line expense item call “Personal Expense”. Make it a top level expense category which will show up on the bottom section of all your reports. It’s essentially a “Catch-All” category for small business/apartment owners to post their personal expenses. That way, when they use their credit/debit cards from time to time, they likely co-mingle expenses. Most are for business, while some might be for a personal purchase. Making ONE (and only ONE) “Personal Expense” category will allow them the freedom to separate all the personal expenses, rather than choose a pre-defined expense category to dump them into. Hope you can pass this on. It’s a very simple and elegant solution for a lot of people. For example- some people might use their same credit card to buy groceries or personal dinner. They can then put those into the “Personal Expense” category. Best, David Kubit
