Long time user here. Was notified by an insurance company i do business with that my April 1st property insurance auto-payments failed. Was surprised because the cash management accounts in question had plenty of funds. After some digging, looks like Stessa has reduced our debit card max transaction limit to only $750 on 4/1/26. To go above that, you literally have to reach out to Stessa, and ask for a temporary exception which has to be reviewed and decisioned. Whoever thought of this rule clearly doesn’t understand or care about the needs of users. This is a deal-breaker for me. Just thought I’d post this in case it helps anyone out there wondering why their auto-pays are being declined by Stessa this month.
