I have a situation that might be a little out of the ordinary. I’m sure it’s a simple fix, but I haven’t been able to figure it out.
I recently purchased a property where a second unit has been added. What’s the optimal way to add each unit at the same address?
@john1 Sure. Just visit your Leases & Tenants page. Find the property in question, and then click the small gear icon near the upper right corner. Select “Add Unit.” Hope that helps!
Thanks, Devin. That’s been done. I’m more concerned about things like accounting for the value of the second unit since the property is still listed as a single unit in Zillow. I’m speaking with my accountant today. Hopefully he’ll have an answer.
