Currently there is only one category for “Meals”, which is under “Admin and Other”.
There needs to be two categories for meals. One for meals during travel to your rental properties and one for entertainment. 50% of travel meals can be written off whereas 100% of entertainment meals can be written off.
Lumping them both into the same category will be a pain at the end of the year to separate them.
Recommend adding a subcategory for “Meals” under “Travel”. That should solve it…or add a category called “Entertainment” and put a “Meals” subcategory under that.
