Under Repairs and Maintenance, we should add a category for “Flooring Repairs.” Flooring repairs are very common for landlords and include items such as patching, filling holes, replacing transition strips, replacing individual boards, ect… While these items could be filed under “Other Repairs,” and full flooring replacement would fall under a CapEx item, flooring repairs are common enough to warrant their own category.
