I need to record sales tax so that I can report what I collect to the Government.
Is there a way to split that out of the transaction automatically?
i.e set a sales tax rate and have the software calculate the sales tax based on that rate?
And, if so, how do I do it. And which of the tax categories should I use?

@helen.potgieter.is It’s somewhat unusual for real estate investors to be tracking sales tax. Stessa does not have a specific category for sales taxes (collected or remitted), but there is a general “Taxes” category. I’d also recommend checking with a CPA since we do not provide specific tax advice.
