Autopay disabled upon lease renewal

Has anyone had their tenant’s autopay disabled upon original lease renewal? My tenant recently renewed her lease and Stessa said the autopay function would be disabled due to the original lease ending, while the website showed that her autopay function was still on. She is still unable to enact autopay, and this is the second month of doing one time payments.

I’d like to see the software updated such that autopay is carried over to the new amount upon lease renewal without additional administrative tasks for the tenant and myself.
