It would be nice to be able to flag a unit as “owner occupied” in addition to “vacant” or “occupied” as we sometimes live in a unit for awhile that we own and that is why it is not on the rental market. It shows as 50% occupancy for one of our duplexes when in fact it is 100% occupied since we live in a unit
@jen Yes, the best way to solve this is to input the tenant name as “Owner” and then set the monthly rent to $0.01. Issue one-cent credits via the tenant ledger each month, or issue a twelve-cent credit right now, so that the unit always shows as “Current.” Twelve cents a year won’t really impact your financials!
