It just seems like you guys shouldnât be advertising services that you canât honestly fulfill with gusto.
Donât âclaimâ priority phone support if you canât support the calls coming in. Instead why not do a chat option like Tawk.to?
they have a very unique model where you can have your own staff support or you can build a knowledge base and pay just based on the usage for the vaâs they have in house. Like $1 per hour for shared access to their VAâsâŚ
Itâs a way better option than offering something that is non-existent and then pissing off customers for life like youâre doing now.
Hospitable did the same thing, offered stuff they couldnât fulfill and now theyâve lost probably just as many new clients as theyâve gainedâŚ
Iâm certainly never using them, and Iâm opting for a service that is 10x more expensive and isnât as good at messaging, just because Iâm so frustrated with their software breaking every 5 minutes.
Itâs one thing to have a free software that doesnât work because you donât have much tied up in it besides some time. But as soon as someone commits to you to making a purchase, their expectations change and now suddenly theyâre trying to buy back all their wasted time and gain convenience.
When that expectation of convenience becomes more trouble and hassle for what they paid, youâve now lost a customer.
So either (a) donât offer the service if you canât fulfill it (b) hire more help to fulfill it or (c)donât ask for money if youâre going to offer bad service.
You canât have someone else make the cake, sell it to someone else, and then eat it too⌠you just canât. Youâre going to piss a lot of people off and theyâre going to smack talk your business behind your back.
I was turned onto stessa as a great alternative to quickbooks, easier to use, and free. Now Iâm paying for a service that is arguably the same level complexity, not free, and has no support to be seen⌠Not a satisfying experience.
