Hello, I’ve been using Stessa for several years now and loving it, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to design and rune the app like that! But now I have a problem with one of my Amex credit cards accounts - I can see it under Connected Accounts list and it doesn’t show any errors, but no transactons are imported for some reason.
Even more weird, and I believe a sign of a more serious problem is that when I tried to import transactions manually from .qfx file, this account is not even shown in the menu under Amex.
I have a suspicion that it might be due to the fact that the last 4 digits of that account are similar to my other Amex account I already have, so in Stessa they both look like xxx-1006, although these are two different accounts under two different credit card types and the names of the account are different in Stessa, only xxxx-1006 are the same.
Could this duplicate ID (?) be the issue?
Is there a way to create a manual not connected account and use it as a workaround in the meanwhile? I really need these transactions for P&L, I don’t expect too much activity on this account so it’s ok to use import.
Alternatively I can add those transactions from .qfx file to some other Amex account, but I want to make sure I don’t mess the import and synchronizing process for that account by doing that.
Do you have any recommendations on how to resolve this problem? Thank you very much!
