"rent payment has failed" issue

My tenant was paying via Stessa for several months (since I joined in June) with no issues. Today he was unable to complete the payment - he is getting “rent payment has failed” message. He tried multiple times to re-add his bank account to no avail. He tried reaching out to support but this has not been helpful. I searched online and see repeated issues with this, with no clear resolution. This is a mission-critical issue - if Stessa can’t process payments it is of no use to me and I’m sure many other landlords. Please advise on the way to resolve this ASAP. Thanks!

We’re having the same issue with Stessa. They have yet to resolve it and my tenant is extremely frustrated that they can’t make the payment on time because the Stessa platform is broke again. Time to find another platform.

Yep, I asked Stessa to delete my account (which they did quickly - kudos for that!) I won’t be using them again. I was feeling very uneasy about them collecting all banking transactions (with no way to opt out of that). Plus it takes forever for the money to clear when transferred through Stessa - I understand they need to make some margin somewhere, but their clearing delay is simply ridiculous.
