Since the new transactions page (the old one was soo much better, imo), we’ve had multiple, multiple receipt files become “damaged” and are unable to view or download them. This could obviously be a huge problem w/ taxes, etc. We haven’t gotten any help from the Stessa support even after multiple messages & phone calls.
I have not noticed this issue, but I do not often go back and review my uploads. I will pay closer attention to this.
I always have redundant systems for me and my bookkeeping clients. I use Dropbox as my primary database for file and receipt management. Then I upload receipts to Stessa when reconciling or entering transactions.
I highly recommend a backup system moving forward.
