When linking an account, Stessa will pull data from that account - but how to tell it how far back to go? I’ve linked 3 accounts and they each have pulled back a varying number of months. If possible, I’d like to tell it to pull back to the beginning of the year. I can probably go get .csv files, but thought I’d check to see if I’m just missing a setting somewhere.
Stessa will import transactions from accounts as far back as it can get from the financial institution. How far back it goes varies by the bank and what they choose to expose via data connection - it usually ranges from as short as 3 months to as long as 2 years. Unfortunately we don’t have much control over it.
As you mentioned, if you want more data, you can manually get CSV or QIF files. When importing, be sure to link to the same account. For more details on uploading data files, check out Upload Transactions Data (QIF, CSV) in the Support Center.
