I encountered a problem. I an outstanding balance of the Water & Sewerage for several months before the tenant moved the account under his name. In Stessa, put in each month’s due as charges to the tenant. Those each month’s charge shows up in the tenant ledger.
There are two possibilities after the tenant moves the account under his name. First, if the Water & Sewerage company backdated all the dues and the tenant pays. In this scenario, shall I just remove all the past charges from Stessa or there is another way to do that? I saw that there is a utility refund → Water & Sewerage. I use that twice, one assign to the property address and one assign to the tenant’s name. But such reimbursement does not show up in the tenant ledger. Is that intentional?
Second, if I paid the past dues already, do I use the same utility refund->Water & Sewerage? Will I ran into the same problem that the tenants utility reimbursement does now show up in the tenant ledger?
I did a lot of search. It seems that other people have the same utility refund->Water & Sewerage not showing up in the tenant ledger problem.
