Unable to add/edit Tenants in a Lease

After a Lease was set up, I need to update/edit the list of Tenants. I tried this:

Properties –> Leases –> View Lease (Summary) –(Actions)–> Edit Current Lease –> [Edit] Add Tenants –> Add co-tenant –> (fill out new co-tenant info) –> Save changes

Shows “Lease updated” Alert for a second - but the resulting Lease Summary screen does NOT show the new Tenants I entered under “Tenants” (on the right)

If I go back to (Actions)–> Edit Current Lease –> [Edit] Add Tenants, I can see that the co-tenants I tried to add are NOT there either.

Also - I did it the way above, because I noticed there’s an Add button in the “Tenants” section on the right, BUT the fields are different; the method I tried gives separate fields for First Name and Last Name, and only asks for email and phone (the only info I need to add, to add them to Rent Pay).

It seems like the payer is also unable to pay more than the balance.

In my case, the payer needs to send in 1 full month, plus the security deposit, before move-in.

But Stessa Rent Pay does not SEEM to allow the payer to pay more than what it is set to (It is asking for the prorated amount for the 1st month, plus the security deposit - instead of a full month’s rent).

It looks like there is no way to make this work in Stessa?

I’m having to have them find a different way to pay.
