When you use the “Split” feature on the Transactions page, it will now preserve your original Useful Life and Date Placed in Service settings for each resulting child transaction. While you won’t see these specific settings in the pop-up window, you can edit them one by one after completing the split by clicking the single transaction edit button as usual.
