Transaction Imports Not Syncing Automatically and Duplicate Transactions Not Recognized

I wanted to share some ongoing issues I’ve been experiencing with Stessa:

  1. Automatic Imports Not Working:
    My transactions (banks, loans, CC) haven’t imported automatically for months now. I had to delete all of my connected banks and re-upload them manually to get updates.

  2. Duplicate Transactions Not Recognized:
    After reconnecting my accounts, Stessa automatically re-imported previous transactions. Unfortunately, the system did not recognize these as duplicates, so they appeared as completely new entries. I had to spend nearly 4 hours manually reviewing and deleting duplicates to clean up my data.

It would be great if the Stessa team could address both the import reliability and the lack of duplicate detection — it’s been very time-consuming to manage manually.
