Stessa is not importing the latest statement from appfolio. I had my property manager resubmit/publish the owners packet. I have reconnected the account including the 2 factor outh. Stessa tells me it fetched the new data 2 minutes ago and it still not showing up. I logged out and logged back in to stessa and that didn’t reset it either. The owners packet was published on the 12th and it’s currently the 19th and it’s still not importanting the contents for the month.
Any other suggestions? Appfolio says it’s connected and fetching the data but it’s not importing.
I’m having this exact same problem. It pulled the March data from my property manager (via Appfolio) just fine back in April, but the statement that was posted in May (for April) simply won’t import. Refreshed the connection multiple times, re-did the auth with Appfolio–no change.
Also tagging @victor in hopes of a response and insight. Stessa is still failing to import from my PM using Appfolio despite working until sometime in April 2025, and I’m obviously not alone. Thanks in advance.
Yeah, i have a ticket open since my appfolio transactions haven’t come through since April. They haven’t provided any concrete detail other than to say they are aware of the issue. Wish there was more urgency or clarity on what the root cause is.
It would be nice to see an official acknowledgement of the issue and some sort of estimated timeline to resolution. I suspect Appfolio changed something and it broke the backend connectivity. This has happened before and often happens with banking institutions if they change anything with their login and/or security process.
Glad I’m not the only one having issues. Just tried again and it’s still no pulling the data. I can’t seem to find a way to import it manually from Appfolio as the report that is issued by my property manager is in PDF not CSV. My books are getting behind. Anyone else find a work around to get the imports from appfolio into Stessa manually until this gets fixed?
I reached out to support again today and they said they are actively addressing the issue but do not have a specific timeframe for resolution at this time.
The import from Appfolio is now working for me. It just pulled in my latest statements from the last two days or so. Unfortunately it won’t pull in the statement from last month, but I’m asking my property manager to re-publish that to see if Appfolio will pick it up.
No transactions from AppFolio were downloaded for May. Refreshing the connected accounts doesn’t help.
I can download PDF statements without any problems.

Same issues here. I transferred to a new PM with Appfolio two months ago and now just noticed nothing is being imported. Glad I checked here. Any suggestions on who to log a ticket with?
I just got the email to reconnect all accounts. I just did that including appfolio. Still not importing. @pete my PM publishes my June one around the 10th of each month so I’m hoping it will pull in June and then will have to figure out May. Let me know having them republish the May statements works for you. I’ve already had them republish it once thinking that might be the issue but clearly this is on the Stessa end.
I had my PM re-publish my April statement, and Stessa did import it after I did a sync. I’m all caught up now with April and May having been successfully pulled in. I’d suggest refreshing the login credentials one more time and asking your PM to re-publish the statement. If that doesn’t work for you now, then unfortunately I’m not sure what else to do.
Keep in mind that with the way these things work, even a small change on either end (Appfolio or Stessa) can break the functionality.
Well last night I did a work around. I had ChatGPT take my owner statements and convert the transactions into a QIF file, and just did an import. I’ll reconnect the account and wait till the 15th to see if May/Jun comes in.
