Ditto, I’m not sure if I’m willing to go another year without the features. There’s still no ETA from Stessa on these features which is discouraging given it was a year ago when they transitioned from their old banking partner to Stessa specifically for this reason.
Agreed. It is a shame that they aren’t taking this request seriously. It is one of the most basic functions a banking service should have.
Thanks for chiming in, the more community members that speak up the better. I’m shocked they haven’t brought this about since being able to pay vendors and return security deposits is a key feature of any banking service. I haven’t written a paper check in 15+ yes, billpay yes, paper check no.
Chiming in here…agree with all of the above…for a completely online banking service being offered it is imperative zelle and bill pay are top priority with accounts. I also have to go back and forth with Capital One and hate that it takes 3+ days to get the transfers done.
Thanks, yeah, I do the same with both chase and capital one. Right now the benefits of Stessa and platform are worth it but I don’t feel like it will stay that way for me if it doesn’t change in the next year or two. They also need to change their beneficiary policies.
Please keep chiming in on this thread so they take this topic more seriously. Working on an updated transactions page (recently released) feels like such a low priority over true online banking services (billpay and zelle)
Bill pay, Zelle, and same-day ACH transfers (Relay already does this) would be game changers. If we dont get these features by the end of June 2025, I will be moving all my bank accounts to Relay, canceling my pro membership, and using Stessa for its basic functions.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback and chiming in. I will check out Relay for banking and may follow suit. Unfortunately life is too busy for me to make a change in next 6 months but next summer likely I’ll have a lot of free time on my hands so I will reassess. If we don’t get those features and they keep raising the price of the PRO membership I agree that I’ll drop back to the basic features and change banks.
